The movie poster at right is from the movie "The Dark Crystal". For some reason, many movie posters have large patches of "dead space" on them. I don't know why movie posters have them. The movie poster at right has one large black space at the bottom, black spaces on the left and right and spaces of white all around the edge! Why do they add dead space to otherwise perfectly good movie posters!? The text at the top of this movie poster is also gratuitous and serves no real purpose. If I had my way the poster would look like the thumbnail I made below. If my memory serves, this movie posters creator is the same as the "Labyrinth" movie posters creator.
