Out-bound links:
An "out-bound" link is a link on your site that links to a page that is not on your site. When a search engine visits your site, one of the things it checks for is your out-bound links. This is what it looks for:
- link text
- link description and name
- link page address
- destination rank
- destination relevance

link text:
     You should drop your out-bound links on top of relevant keywords in your text. "Link text" is the text that the text link is on. For example:
The link text for this link about posters is "this link".
     If you want a page to be ranked high for the keyword "Movie Posters" then drop out-bound links like these:
"Here is another great poster website about movie posters that also has movie art posters."
     But, you do NOT want to add out-bound links on text that is NOT relevant. For example:
"A great link to a website about movie posters, can be found HERE."

link description and name:
     Add relevant descriptions and names to go with your text links. Examples:
"The description for these links are cheap movie posters, movie poster shop and movie posters. The link names for these links are vintage movie posters, art posters and poster frames."
The HTML code looks something like this:

<A class=a title="LINK DESCRIPTION HERE" href="HTTP://WWW.WEBSITE_HERE.COM" name="LINK NAME HERE">LINK TEXT HERE</A>

So the text link example below:
Cheap Poster Search
has HTML like this:

link page address:
     Link to pages with the keywords in the page address. For example, on a page about "cheap posters" there should be a link to a page like this:
http://www.cheappostersearch.com/CHEAP_POSTERS/cheap_posters.html
because the words "cheap" and "posters" appear 3 times each in the page's address!

destination rank:
     The page, that the out-bound link is linked to, should be ranked high for the keyword?

destination relevance:
     The page, that the out-bound link is linked to, should be about the keyword?

If you sell posters on your website - then here is a list of good out-bound links you might want to add to your site that will help you get ranked higher with search engines. For example, if you want to be ranked higher for "Funny Posters" then add the out-bound links listed under "FUNNY POSTERS".
